Nadia Ali | Solicitor
Nadia has been with the firm since 2014, initially as a volunteer whilst completing her studies.
Nadia has been exposed to variety of work during her time at the firm with her primary areas of practice being family law, immigration law and private client matters.
Nadia is involved in the preparation of various in-country and entry clearance applications for EEA Family Permits, EEA Residence Cards and applications under Appendix FM. She has a particular interest in cases under the Domestic Violence Concession of the Immigration Rules. She regularly liaises with experts to ensure a well-rounded application. She is particularly regarded for her attention to detail.
Nadia’s interest in immigration matters also links to her family law work. She has experience in cross-border child maintenance and parentage disputes as well as divorce cases involving medical and social work involvement. She also advises on urgent interdict and non-harassment matters and offers a logical and informative approach to clients in often distressing situations.
Nadia is a Member of the Scottish Young Lawyers Association.
She is fluent in both Urdu and Punjabi.
